Hong Kong Is Changing. It’s Time to Accept That.

The Hong Kong security law draft now submitted at China’s National People’s Congress should not come as a surprise to anyone who has followed developments in the last twenty years. However, as someone who spent many years living and working in Hong Kong enjoying the ease of doing business as well as the many freedoms and low taxation, one cannot help feeling some nostalgia for the “good old days”.
